The University District Farmers Market is an outdoor, seasonal Farmers Market that takes place every Saturday on the south lot of the University Heights Center. The U-District Farmers Market is organized by the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance.  The Alliance is a U-District based non-profit committed to providing support to Washington State's small family farmers.  The Alliance's primary work is to create successful, vibrant Farmers Markets in Seattle neighborhoods. These Markets provide strong, retail outlets for local farmers, educate consumers about the value of our local food economy and are a valuable weekly community catalyst for our large and diverse U-District community.
